Online Therapy
Transformation that’s convenient
Online therapy has many names: Telehealth. Virtual counseling. Teletherapy. E-therapy.
In a world where we are all attempting to be organized while on-the-go, online therapy is an option to make mental health care more accessible while still keeping your private information safe and protected. With virtual sessions as a resource, I am able to support you online, from wherever you are most comfortable.
Offering therapy online also means I can expand my reach as a therapist. Did you know that the only requirement to do therapy with me only is that you have to physically be located in Washington during the time of the session?

While most of my clients reside in or near the Seattle/Tacoma area, offering virtual counseling allows me to see individuals spanning all the way from Bellingham to Spokane to Yakima to Pullman, and everywhere in between.
Wondering if online therapy is for you? Check out the list below for its benefits:
You get to embark on your journey in the comfort of your own home.
You can save time by eliminating the commute to and from my office.
You can see me for session, regardless of the city you live in.
You save money on gas and mileage spent commuting to and from my office.
Weather rarely gets in the way.
It provides easy access for those in rural areas.
Sessions are more accessible if you travel often.
You don't have to worry about unreliable transportation or childcare.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Everyone has something to work through.
Stuff happens, priorities shift, circumstances change. Because therapy can help with so many things, it’s bound to be helpful for any person at some point in their lives.
You’ll never regret helping yourself.
I often ask my clients: “If you make this change, are you going to regret it?”.
Spoiler alert: the answer is always “no.”
Participating in your own life is what’s most empowering.
The goal is not to just go through the motions. Be present.
Imperfect is encouraged.
Authenticity is welcome. Feel free to leave perfect at the door.
You are not better than anyone else, but you are just as good.
Social comparison makes us forget this sometimes.
Determination > Motivation
No one wakes up every single day completely motivated. Be determined to help yourself, don’t wait for the motivation to come.
You’re worth the time, money, energy, and effort spent in therapy.
Therapy will help you clarify your goals and teach you how to get there. You are worth the hard conversations, the babysitter, and the extra hour you might have to work at your job.
It’s not about what you need to do. It’s about who you want to be.
Because the satisfaction of marking things off your to-do list won’t last near as long as the total person change you’re looking for.
Your new life is going to cost you your old one, and that’s okay.
We would all stay stuck if we only did what was comfortable.
